Saturday Project

Abilene, TX

Lorry, did you have pictures, too? I have Friday off, so I am going to HD to look. : )

Silsbee, TX(Zone 9a)

I just found this thread now and think it's the neatest thing ever! I only have 4 AVs right now so I'll be trying this on a much smaller scale. I don't see why this wouldn't work for many differen't kinds of plants, as long as they are all healthy. What a great idea. Thanks for all the info and pics!

Nanna, when you have time and if you don't mind, could you please tell me the name of the AV in your second pic on March 19 at 9:12...it's the white one with pink thumbprints pretty much in the center of the pic. I just think that's an adorable AV and would like to see if I could find one. Thanks so much!

That is Optimara DaVinci. It is actually a red thumb print. I love it, too. Lots of blooms and they last.

Oh, it's red? It looks so pink in the pic to me...almost fuschia. I'll have to look it up. Thanks so much for the info, I appreciate it...so quick too! :)

I think Allison tried to look it up and it was not in FC. The blooms are about 3 to 4 week old and the color is beginning to fade.
