Does anyone know if bulbs planted in containers should be treated similar to bulbs that you don't water until you see some growth or should I start watering immediately?
Lilies in Containers
I've often done new lilies in containers for a year then transplant to garden. In the spring I place lilies in a deeper container, water well, then let them sit (usually in basement) till they break surface. At that time the're normally placed outside (climate permitting) and enter a regular watering rotation.
