26 containers sprouted!

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

I finally got out to really check my containers today. 26 out of 75 have at least one seedling, some sign of germination. I hope I don't kill them now that they made it this far!

Woo hoo! It's so gratifying to see that green.

It certainly is satisfying. Now I just have to hope they don't freeze. It's supposed to go down to the mid-20s a few nights this week.

I'm sweating it out, too. 1/3 of my containers have sprouted and it's supposed to get to 25 degrees Fri and Sat nights. I know that WS seedlings are supposed to be tougher than their indoor-sown cousins. I just hope my seedlings read that part of the WS script. They are all over my patio, table and benches. I don't think I could cover all of them. And besides, you are not supposed to have to do all that to WS seedlings; that's supposed to be the beauty of winter sowing. I'm really trying to keep the faith, but it's getting tough.
