Can anyone identify this moth please? The stripes on the flag are about 4 1/2". Thanks, John.

I think that the common name might be Black Witch. We had one in our garage in SW Georgia and when I keyed it out that is what I came up with. They are huge and migratory from South America.

if a web site come up on your search out of Texas. Make a report of it. They are only usually seen over our way after Hurricanes and tropical storms. The winds this last week have been almost as bad lol. I had one after Ivan. I even had a Zebra Longwing last week. My very first one ever
