I am such a coward about putting them outside :) Though I do have a couple to go out there..I bought them at the local nursery w/o blooms for .50

Lorry my husband does a good job growing them in the ground ! I have so many a few don't hurt. We had some our other home out there in the ground for year grew so big Elise was always blooming like 24 inches
got hoses, rained on, hurricanes, cold, sun and it looked great ! I am going to give him a few more to plant in the garden ! Their in the ground we won't ever dig them up and bring them in.

Up a few pictures I shared picture of Ultra Violet Flash leaf with Mom that has buds. Well last night I was watering and I was why who's that cute little flowers !
It's another Ultra Violet Flash. Now it did not bloom true, one it's you or I got it mixed up with Ultra violet Fireball ? As I have 3 or 4 Ultra Violet Flash . Jan sent me them ! Thanks Jan :))

I got several leaves from Jan, Unltra violet Flahs, Ultra Violet Fireball. And have like 5 cups that say Ultra violet Flash which could be possilbe she sent a lot. But what I was saying other than if the first bloom is sporting or I mis-labled the cups. As you can see the blooms are with Mom leaves and babies. Now the blooms are even bigger and brighter and their larger than the babies so vivid and pretty. I now know the cups should say Ultra Violet Fireball.

Oh PS Linda sorry if my words get mixed up. I was saying I labled cups Ultra Violet Flash . Either it Sported or I should have labeled the cups Ultra Violet Fireball . I have four cups labled Ultra Violet Flash. So what I did was mis-labeled the cups.

I really enjoy growing the Ultra Violets ! They progate easy by leaf , grow and form nice always blooming :))
That Irish Flirt is too much! I love it. Nice photos of the others, since you sent me leaves or babies of some of those I am now more anxious than ever to see mine in bloom! You have an amazing collection of AVs- I was surprised at how many I had, when I did my list- I am sure that you need FC, it would take forever for you to list them yourself!
Oh yes and I've had FC a couple years and Jill just taught me how to do it ! My keep collection is small I mostly grow by leaf and give them away. And I still do not have on extra space and have trays of babies with no room inder the light :(( and I want an empty plant stand for my special keepers :))
I guess after trades and getting everyone's boxes out one may run a Bingo game for either to win plants or leaves. And post some freebies of what I have left.
great idea on the bingo. I was playing Bingo on Violet Reflections and yesterday only needed one more and today someone got the bingo, not me (boo hoo) =º(
no one has claimed 2nd place so perhaps tomorrow if they call my remaining one I can win 2nd place!

I don't know about my house being beautiful :) I take better care of my plants then I do housekeeping :)
And we have cement floors right now (LOL) we never got a chance to retile after the hurricanes :)

How do we play bingo for AVs?
Well other groups play each month and all times I played people took turns Sponsoring or asked vendors too .
Most times it's for free leaves, but sense I have so many babies I gave babies or mixtureof babies/leaves for prizes . Some groups in the winter use different prizes as it's too cold to ship.
If I was Sponsoring say
Someone else would hold the cards ( each person would Dmail their Bingo card to the holder she would Dmail you back confirming she got it ) When someone call Bingo she confirms the winners card.
The Sponsor will post the names of 35 plants/leaves she has to share . You can do Gessie's and suplies if you want. I always post the plants names in Alphabetical order with the First Class info with the names.
Then the players pick 15 plants or leaves they would like to have to grow !( Most times we posted plant names one 1st. say and you had till mid-night the 14th. to get your card in and Bingo game started on the 15th.)
Each day I call a name and I can call as many Bonus calls as I'd like too !
The first person to get the 15 names on their Bingo card wins ( After card holder verifies) . The winner would recieve the plants/leaves / prizes being offered by the Sponsor. Shipping is paid by the winner.
I feel you need at least 12 people to play. The card hold, the Sponsor , and ten players. But the more the more fun ! Any DG's people can play :))
