Sweet Olive

I found this plant at Home Depot and after looking it up decided I have to get one!!!!

Some people posted that it was "messy," but otherwise the reviews were awesome. The one person who lives near me (htop) said she's never had to rake leaves, fertilize, etc. Wondering if there could be anything bad about this "tree" and if you know what's "messy" about it, because with it's intoxicating scent I want to use it near my covered deck.

I'd certainly not consider Osmanthus 'messy'. Go for it.

Of course be careful if 'intoxicating' is meant literally!

Resin,

LOL! You are too funny. Yeah, htop got back to me in D-mail and said she didn't really find it messy. Said the flower fall but are so small the wind carries them away and any fruits from the tree the birds take....maybe the mess comes from the birds? Anyhow, I have cats so birds rarely bother my yard for long!

Went to HD (Home Depot) and picked this up today, 6 bucks! Can't wait for her to bloom out.
