I started them in January, since they take a long time to mature. This their final transplanting. Second year on growing the geraniums, love the smell.

golgi,
They are bigger today then when I posted the lst picture. They are park's red elite hybrid geraniums. I love them because they are very healthy plants. I have 50 of them, and my dear wife would not let you take one! LOL............She is funny. I have 88 dahlias and 88 zinnias, and 72 celosia growing also. Running out of room! Ordered more grow lights I planted 100 geranium seeds last year.got 94 plants!!!

What growing medium do you use to get your seeds started? Are they slow to germinate? You seem to have real green fingers to get 94 plants out of 100 seeds!

I use a sterile seed starting mix. I use that during transplanting as well. The key to germination is knowing the germination temperature for the plant you are growing. Once germinated, they need a lot of TLC. I have been growing plants all my life as a hobby. Keeping everything sterile is very important.
