neem is sometimes used topically for something.. I forget what - rashes? Scrapes? I'm not sure if it would be an irritant itself, but perhaps....

At any rate, neem spray usually consists of neem and an emulsifier. The emulsifier is often another oily thing which is often an irritant when inhaled or if there is skin contact for an extended time. Okay, a lot of "often"s in there - because it's not always the case but is often true. lol.

I was reading that Sulphur fine yellow dust and is not toxic and carries no label. Sulphur is a good deterent to mildew, you can use it to lower the PH of your soil. So be very careful in its use if your soil contains a high-percentage of peat moss. Sulphur will burn the foliage and bloom on African violets if the temperature is over 80 degrees. Use it as a very light dust blown over your plants for control of mildew.
