My heart is breaking....... Sassy T has had a stroke. The 11 year old, stubborn, back-talking, sassy Bulldog who owns such a large piece of my heart, is leaving us.

She's been in declining health due to age and I've been trying to prepare byself, but yesterday I was cheered because she was fussing at me as only Sassy can (actually just talking). I just called the vet's office, bearly able to talk for crying, told them the situation and asked that Dr Jerry wait for DH, Bob, to arrive.

Bob insisted he go alone since I have been sick and recently suffered the loss of a dear friend, fellow DGer, Lynne (LMelling). I knew he was right.- Judy
