What are the "larch-looking" deciduous conifers in the background of the Olympic cross-country ski run?

Hey, alright! A conifer thread, albeit a deciduous one. I guess that makes a good transition, huh?
Mike and Ken, Scott beat you to the gate!

Number 57 - the larch
and now for a man trying not to be seen
Hi Scott,
I'd assume Larix decidua (which is native in northern Italy), tho' I've not been watching the Olympics, so haven't seen the pics
Resin
Larix decidua and Larix laricina. They are just blown over in their pots outside, taking all mother nature can give them for the winter.
I'm not worried about cold season survival at all.
Rick
