I am lost. I don't understand where to go to see what is available for trade. Do I go to each person's separate page? How can I do that if I don't know their names? I have registered and started a page but I'm soooooo lost.
understanding this web site
When you log onto daves garden, you will always see your menu box on the right. "Woodspirits Menu" Click on "forums" It will then take you to a list of forums. For seed trading, select "trading", this will list all posts of members who are looking for seeds and have seeds for trade. If you want to search members seedlists, select "Search" on your menu. You have the option to search the forum, or search members seedlists. Your menu will take you anywhere you want to go.
You can also click on "members" in that box too...that will bring up all the members names and if they have seeds or not.
Woodspirit1, you can go to your menu, click on members, then do edit, find in page, and then search for (yes) without the parans and the members with seeds will come up - then you can go from there. Brenda

I went to forums and looked for selecting "trading" but all I found was "trades" and when I clicked on it, it only showed MY trades. I want to see everyone's haves/wants together in a list somewhere. How do I do that?
Wilmington is my mother's home and we moved there when I was a high school senior at New Hanover High. My family owned the Lumina on Wrightsville Beach for about 20 years.
I got involved with the New Hanover County Museum there, now the Cape Fear Museum. I have been involved in historic preservation/history at our local archives ever since.
Woodspirit... when you select "forums" from your menu box, it will take you to a list. On the list you will see topics such as "General Discussion", "trading" etc. You want "trading" from the list... not from your menu box! The trades option on your menu box is YOUR trades.
You can also try the other methods as posted by fellow members.
I have always loved Wilmington, (and dont even mind the hurricanes!) I love our cities horticultural preservation! and historical preservation seems to be something we are excelling in as well! I havent ventured to the Cape Fear Musuem yet. Missed the Henrietta Marie opening.
Its great to be in touch with a local!! Let me know if our assistance helps you with finding your way around Daves Garden! Such a friendly group, and a wonderful site! ENJOY!!
