Little Clown, after I stripped it of it's leaves. (it arrived way too wet and the leaves I took off were 'droopy', but after I cut them, set them in VF11 water overnight, they crisped up and I put them down in trays)
Look how cute the leaves are, this one is already rooted and has nubbie babies started.

Here's Ultra Violet dusk, I have leaves down of this one, good thing too, as I overwatered the Mom and (gulp) sadly she's no longer.

I know, bummer about your baby Ultra Violet Dusk, BUT I do have healthy rooted leaves down. I have learned ALOT about how to NOT overwater AV's, of course I learned the hard way! But now I'm doing way better.
Laurie your Irish flirt is a very nice plant not baby and full of buds :)) So is your Irish Paradise and all your other plants getting big :))
Lali, do not run up those eBay bids... I have a couple of little plantlets coming along so well that they actually have buds! (And they are still in their leaf pot -- definitely overachievers.) I'll be happy to put your name on one.... I know it'll still be a little bit of a wait though, LOL. Oh, wait, I just re-read Allison's post and realized she already has one for you! Well, probably somebody else will be willing to give mine a home.
I'm so excited that Allison has a 'Wondrous Girl' for me -- what a gorgeous little bloomer!! Maybe I can talk her out of a leaf or crown cutting of 'My Sue'.... I love those mini trailers!! (Allison, just whack me on the nose with a newspaper when my list gets too long, OK? Down, girl!)

Naw, I try to behave on eBay, I dont go very high since I know someone else will either list it sooner or later, or VG has it.
Laurie don't be buying the plants I've been holding for you. And Green Lace, And all the other Irish plants, And Rebel's green Machine and more. I don't think you can find Irish Paradise any where . and Bells of Ireland. Hek thses plants are getting big and as soon as you get home your getting them girl I need room. If you coming you'd have them already. And the Leprechaun's Daydream and besides I've seen the plants on Ebay ' and mine are much nicer. I got a plant the other day $7.00 and it was wet, wet paper towel under foliage and covered with wet paper towel I thought weird ? well even though she reimbursed me I still lost the shipping money don't have the plant I won and wanted "(( she has no more. I did buy another plant and hope it comes in good condition as I really want it ! I get tired of plants too small or poor condition
so I feel safer sticking to some vendors and friends trades .. and like today I am so please with my plant then I'll buy more . I can't tell you how many boxes I have paid good money for and there are dead plants :((
So with me you get free plants in good condition and healthy.
VG does have a lot of fabulous varieties... and so does our own V_T, LOL! Not to mention MsC and Lorry and Begonia and Betsy and Nanna..... et al! I've got my order in with VG and may place an order somewhere else to get my hands on a nice chimera that I can share around, but mostly I'm having fun with trades to expand and share my collection! (*giggle* I think when I got over 50 I started referring to it as "a collection.") I'm pretty much planning to stay away from random eBay sellers.
'Peppermint Girl' is definitely one of my favorites. I can't believe how little they can be at first bloom -- and then those (relatively) big double blooms just blow me away. I gave away a couple in bloom as "party favors" at last Saturday's Sweethearts' Tea for Howie & Gardenwife, and you know that put smiles on some faces. I've got at least 6 more little plantlets and a couple that are budding already, plus I think there's a leaf or two down. :-)

I know I've posted some of these before, but I've been posting so many shots of leaf pots and plantlets lately that I wanted to remind everyone what they'll look like when they grow up!
'Cloud Puff' The green edge doesn't photograph well, but it looked so crisp!
I have leaves down, but no ears or plantlets yet... this one is just being a little slow to grow & propagate. But it's worth the wait! The blooms are HUGE!

'Madeleine' has sweet orchid-purple blooms!

Ali, I'll be there soon, we'll play in the dirt and have some fun! And if nothing else, I'll get to see Precious in her hat, I printed the photo and put it on my desk, I can't stop smiling when I look at it! Even emailed it to a friend. You have no idea just how cut she is in her hat!
Can't wait to meet Lorry, Chris, Bob, Robert and yourself! It will be great fun, plus I'm meeting up with some others from the begonia corner!
And I get to come home with begonias too! can't beat that!
'Smitten Kitten' is described as variegated girl foliage, but the leaves aren't quite as "girly" as some. However, it grows with a nice shape for me, and the deeper colored eye in the lavender-purple bloom is really special.
I swear we must have 'cousins' on the noid Rosie Girl. (calling mine 'noid Rosie's Girlfriend') they look a lot alike! Is yours a standard too?
Does FC show Classic Rock as girl? the ebay sale said 'girl foliage' but it just looks variegated to me.

I've also got 'Biscayne Trail' and 'Sure to Please'... both are budding now, so I'll have nice new photos soon! I have leaves down with ears coming along on both!
I think that's the current roster of my girlie AVs! I do have a plantlet of Dana's large standard with ruffled girl foliage, but it's nowhere near blooming yet.

Oh, I think it's such fun that we'll be exchanging our "Rosie Girl" and "Rosie's Girlfriend" noids this spring! Mine is not a standard... I would judge her to be a semi-mini.... she's in about a 3 1/2 inch pot and seldom grows very far beyond it.
Classic Rock sounds like Smitten Kitten in its bloom description... I wonder if a mixup there could account for Classic Rock occasionally showing up as girl leafed?

Is yours perhaps Rococco Girl? I keep thinking mine is, but then mine doesn't have serrate leaves. I think mine is more standard than not. You can see how big it is, and it's young yet. Imagine if I can keep it alive. It's blooming it's head off right now, all of them are on this living room table.
So do you have an extra leaf of biscane trail for me? That one and Siawasee trail are on my drool list.
