Hey Dena, good luck with the earthworms. I have a grub farm in the basement ---- not much fun to deal with, but it all started when three bluebirds showed up in the backyard about this time last year. Grubco just got too expensive and I thought I'd try to raise the nasty little things myself. Among the problems is that it's taken a whole year to get some sizeable enough to feed to the birds (and it looks like the bluebirds won't be back anyway.)

Grubco is aweful, try grub-r-us or the grub shack

Anyway, you started growing grubs so you could feed the birds? I have tons of grubs, come help me turn the new bed, you can have all the grubs you can find!
I hope the worms work out, I don't know how I would explain to my boys that our pet worms all died.
