I'm still grinning at Precious proudly wearing her new hat! She sure doesn't know she's a dog,, as you've said.... many dogs barely tolerate any sort of costume, but she knows when she looks all fancy!
Yes as my nurse leaves and she is out the door I tell her stick her head in one more time for a smile to keep for the day. And there is Precious looking at her with her hat so happy and proud just like in the picture !
I am spoiled by all my African violet friends ! It sure is Christmas each and everyday.
Laurie sent me some super duper Strep and Chirita leaves ! And Av;s too. And I got two leaves from Jan FL's Mosaic plant. I am thinking it is not Lilian in Lace as it does not have ruffled leaves. But it's gorgous .
I took 4 leaves from her Kid Karla :))

Jan, that's a lost art to be able to do hand crafts like that. I learned how back in the 80's from a very kind old woman when I lived in Australia.
I'm working on a 'flower' to cover a boo boo on a knitted scarf I made my daughter. I missed a stitch and need to cover my mistake, so I thought a little rosette would do the trick!

Yup, when I was a crazy teenager, just out of highschool, I sold my baby (1965 Ford Galaxie Convertible =( and moved on down under!
Lived there for a year, working the crops as I traveled north from Sydney to way north Queensland! I highly recommend a trip if you can!
Fiji wasn't bad either! or Sri Lanka for that matter!
