Key, I have some fine Chirita that I'll put down more leaves of soon. I just harvested for Ali, so they need a few more leaves to pluck from, but chirita 'Vertigo' is killer! And I have aeschynanthus 'Christmas Carol', and a variegated leaved aeschynanthus and just took a cutting of a beauty of a streptocarpella - If you are interested, you can have first dibs.

Wish I was having the luck with my episcia that the rest are, I just put down the stolon of one that was waaaay long it's still attached to the mom, but once it roots, I'll nip it off and hopefully the mom will sprout.

Hopefully my Bristols 'Rhubarb' that I have down (has roots) will sprout some babies.

Melissa, we can set up another trade in the spring too! and trust me, you'll love anything Allison sends, she grows some real gems! I've got LOTS of leaves down, they just aren't moving as fast as I'd like them to, but before long, I'll have some babies.

Key, I also took two babies from a noid Chirita yesterday. I think it's c. Latifolia x Linerifolia but came with out a tag. BUT looks identical to the one that had a tag.

The episcia I put down is 'La Solidad' I think. I have Coco also, but they are twigs.

I also have three cuttings of noid Goldfish, but that's probably boring...LOL

The Nemanthus fissus that I put a leaf down of is rooting, so it may do something after all?

Sounds great, mine need to size up just a bit. some are tiny, others from Bluebird are good sized.

Oh and I forgot to add that I have a florist gloxinaia NoID.which I got form my local nursery for 1.00 (I am going to buy more this weekend I think) I am going to try propagating them by leaf (which is says you can do just like an AV.
And if I have success..I would be happy to share them with everyone!
The plant itself...I think I will let it go dormant, it has no flowers and that is why I got it for 1.00 :)

Lorry, didn't you get some Kohleria from Robs in a special? I've been eyeballing them too. I went through Pat's Pets site and have a huge list as well! Gonna get my hands on a petrocosmea if it's the end of me!! (I can't get over their symmetrical foliage, drool drool drool)

Had a list for Kartuz, but don't think I'll order anytime soon. DH and I are planning a weekend get-away. He wants to jet off to Mexico but has no idea what goes into planning a trip. It's not the trip that's hard to plan for, but who's going to take care of the house, pets (all 15 of them, not including the chickens, fish and horses!!!!) and most importantly, plants, especially all my new leaves down!

I'm suggesting a weekend in San Diego, maybe scoot over to TJ and drink a margarita or six (absolutely no tequila shots! -been there done that). So, if we make it to SD, I'll go to Kartuz in person to see what's what. I've been drooling on their begonias for quite a while now. HOPEFULLY they will have their act together.

Your lists are making me laugh!!! Lorry, I don't have a single one on your wish list. I guess my collection is still really small, even though it looks like a lot to me. My hubby and son are wondering when I will have enough AVs.....................haven't ever mentioned the 2000 named AVs thing to them. : ) They think I am about to have every one and I have about 20 - 25. : )

Actually everything on the list :) and I have other leaves that are well rooted...You can add Rob's hopscotchand Heaven's reflections They have babies too! (Laurie has first dibs on the babies though) Hopefully I will have tons from it though~!

I've lost track but someone said something about propagating florist's gloxinia from leaf. It's better to root a tip cutting, and even better if you can root a stem with a bit of tuber attached.

I put down a flat of cuttings last week so we shall see.... at some point I guess I'll be able to put up a Have list.
