Hey Donna ---
That is too much Fun!

I can certainly tell he is loving to clear the snow with the lawnmower....lol

You sure do have the snow!

We rarely get even one flake :-(
But it WAS COLD last night to 25 degrees -
and that IS cold in Texas.

Thanks for sharing that awesome photo, Donna....

YW, Emma. Ron said you hadn't seen real snow before. One flake....hmmmm. That's not enough...lol. One of these days you might get more than that.

It seems like most of the people who live in the colder zones who pine for a warmer climate zone would be willing to do without the snow...although it is beautiful when it's not too cold and windy and the snow is falling in nice big flakes...that's why my friends that live in California tell me that you can live in a nice mediterranean climate and an hour or so drive up into the mountains and you got snow if you want it...I have to re-do(after a hardrive crash) the map I had made up that shows where the weather is nice, but doesn't get any really bad earthquakes or those tidal wave fires...

So,I had attempted to use the way that snow can be squashed together into a snowball to convey a feature about pollen to Emma, and it can take a 'Northerner'a little by surprise if the person hasn't had the climate zone 'luxury' of making snowballs...

I'd prefer the California sunshine "Akatsuki no Fubuki" and "Akatsuki no Yuki" over the North East snow at this point...I'm working towards it...hopefully I can swing it before too long...

Oh I almost forgot that "Plum Frost" would be pretty casual too...

I didn't say I hadn't 'seen' snow.
Heck we got our entire ground solid white for 'ONE DAY'.....LOL
Then it was gone.
BUT! I have seen the snow in Denver and Vale and throughout that trip abot 5-years ago. Beautiful!
Can't say that I've been in a snowstorm though.

But, Ron, I DID get to roll up the snow to make snowballs, and I was a pretty good aim too...lol
That was fun.

I'm with Ron though in that it would be fun to 'visit' the snow and be able to leave it when you are ready.

In fact, I wouldn't mind it a bit living in even a Warmer Zone.

Ron is going to have a ball growing his MG's in a warmer climate.
I think it would be awesome to be somewhere to grow them year around.

Eh?

No kidding it would be nice to grow things all year around. That's why I need plants in the house otherwise I would go cuckoo....lol!!

Very ingenious, Donna! Better than making snow-cones out of the stuff! LOL

So that's what snow looks like. Hmmm...I'll have to remember that.

Before we had that freak freeze/snowfall in 2004 it had been around 109 years ago that the south tip of Texas had a White Christmas.

..and it was 37 years ago that it had snowed during the year - so I really don't mind waiting another 37 years to see snow again this far south either :o)

Will say though, that's quite a handy idea - using the lawnmower to clear away the snow. Whodathunk it!!!
