I have been searching for a kitten to give love and care.. after I saw Gardenwife new kitten.. It made me leading to www.petfinder.com and looking for a cat to adopt. I saw a picture of this cat that they named her Jersey. She loves dogs. So I emailed to that place and asked her question about that kitty. She emailed and told me that she would be out for adoption today. DH and I discussed about that cat. He said yes.. go and get her. So.. I have been planning to go and get her today. Somehow my boy Matt got sick last night and kept me up all night. This early morning, I decided to stay home to care my boy first. I can find other cat later.. Then around at 8am. DH woke up and I said no, we cant go. DH said Matt felt better and gives him some medicine before we leave. Honestly I really wanted that kitty! DH said let's go before 11 am before someone adopt her. So we got dressed up and got everything ready. We drove all way 2 hours and half to get to Houston Texas. We arrived at Petco store and there was several cats. I have paper printed picture of Jersey with me. I pulled out and showed to a lady. She said she's not here but she's on way. At first, I thought no we came all way. She said dont worry.. she's on the way. I waited and petting all cats. Boy, one cat tried to bite me! He's pretty mean! :o( But he's beauty! He was all brown tabby. Later, her foster mom came by with two kitten.. Jersey and her sister. Oh she was beautiful. She is all white with blue eyes. It brought my memories back as I used to have white cat with green eyes. Then I thought is she deaf due all white with blue eyes.. I asked a lady and said no she can hearing well. So I went and spent few mintues with her.. She's sweet, spoiled and likes to rubbing belly. I filled out some paper work. The ladies was surpised that we drove all way to get there to adopt her. They couldn't believe it. She's ours. We came home.. and bought some stuff for her. They said she dont stratch the furtiures but only on cardboard box. That's great. She's indoor cat. She's about 8 to 9 months old. I named her Angel. DH want to name her Cottonball. :o) He said Happy Valentine Day after they approved me. :o) I gave him a big smack! I was so happy!
Right now, she is in my masterbathroom for a while to get used around.. There's pink litterbox, stratch cardboard box, toys, foods.. She's all healthy and have tested neg. for FIV, spayed, etc.
I will take picture of her soon as she get used to be around. She's hiding right now. Give her some time.
I just want to share.. I am so exciting.
