Thank you all so much!! I really appreciate all your kind words. I am still riding out my birthday grace period too! Last night we went to our sushi place with friends and our sushi man, Kiyoshi, made us incredible dishes. The best sushi I have ever had. I can't wait for my next year's birthday. LOL
Tonight other friends are taking us to a new sushi restaurant owned by a man who was our sushi chef about 15 years ago. He just opened it and we are going to surprise him.
Then all that is left for my birthday is to guilt Tom into going with me to a nursery to get 2 arbors. I am hoping my birthday will sway him, so far he is insisting we do not need them.
Here are 2 flowers that Kiyoshi made for my birthday. One from a lemon skin and one from an onion sprinkled with tobiko, a type of fish eggs.

kell, sorry I missed your birthday but it was also my daughter's birthday. I had planned to go out to a Chinese buffet with my spousal unit, my daugher and her significant other. But I got snowed in.
It is her 39th birthday.
