Joseph, your Blue Silk is wonderful; I can't wait for mine to flower. I am wondering if the JMG's are perennial if they are taken inside at the end of summer, or if they are annuals and live the short lived annual life.
Perennials?
My Akatsuki no Umi last year thrived for about 10 months then went into rapid decline. I can't attribute it to mites or other factors, (it did have this nasty pest). I know some other Ipomoea species are perennial in their natural range, however, such as I. lindheimeri in the southwest USA.
