I have a few Strep babies growing too :))
ok need your ACTUAL."experience" with strep leaves
just dawned on me..you know what"..that ruby strep leaf...looks like swiss chard!!..he he
well i'm sure you folks do better at producing babies than i do....lol..haven't tried this in 40 years...lol
I bet it's like riding a bike!
Bob, I looked at some of the adult leaves on my noid streps that I got a few weeks ago, and they are very rippled like that. I'll take some photos later tomorrow if I don't go to the beach. (assuming we will have enough sun to put the top down on my beetle and go have fresh clam chowder and soud dough bread in Bodega! my convertible rule is 55º and sunshine and the top goes down!!!)
But 2 of the 3 have very rippled adult (older) leaves. So maybe that is why yours is wavy like that? just a thought>
BTW I think the 2 I got are "ogalvee' hybrids. If you look on eBay, they are identical to 'Cassandra', 'Echo' and 'Jason'
since these came from the SFO flower market, it's possible that they are Ogalvees. anyway. I'll try to upload for you mañana.
yummmm...sour dough bread - I can still smell it baking down at the Fisherman's Wharf....
I know! and you can get those sour dough bread bowls filled with piping hot clam chowder. mmmm...
i often make sour dough bread....the trick is to keep the sour dough starter going for many years....hard to beat S.F. sour dough bread...............wish i had some right now..lol
Laurie I'm sure you'll be having your top down ! End of Feb 1997 I left Cleveland Ohio in below degree snowing. We first landed in Miami and then on to Tampa . Everyone was at the Hospital and My little brother ( Well he's in his 40's ) came to pick me up with his friend and they had the top down. It was 98 degrees. But all I had was winter clothes. lol and on the highway all the dirt and yuk from trucks was flying lol I was mentaly exhausted so this top down ride was not fun. lol But have had many other ones in Florida that were :)) My Dad liked it cold and the A/C in his hospital room was like 62 degrees and I stayed in there just about 24 hours a day so the winter clothes were welcomed :))
I'm sure it will be warm and sunny for you :))
