Dwarf Flamboyant seeds

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

Oh, we get way below freezing. I am hoping to get some seeds off of these so I can start them again. I was wondering for a long time if they would ever do anything at all, I got them started late and then was late in transplanting to a bigger pot.

That's my name this year.....late.....LOL

I am really enjoying these though. I hope they do last a long time, if I can just keep them watered during this never ending drought and heat wave.

Fran,
Our Lowe's just got in a shipment of these in large pots - probably 10-12 inch ones with 3 or 4 plants in each. They
were in full bloom and were beautiful. They also cost $17.95
a pot!!!

I was so excited when I saw them and now I know what to
expect. I hope I sent the SASBE that I was supposed to. My
record keeping left something to be desired about that time.
Let me know if I need to send one.

Thanks for sharing,
Louise

I also have seeds From a pink Tabebuia Tree for the cost of a letter. You can send the 37cent stamp for these as they are very thin. I have lots of them also...Fran

I would love to have some of both if you don't mind, I'll send a sabe out today, thanks, they really look cool from the pictures :o)
I guess if I planted these in the ground (instead of a pot) the roots would be too much to dig up afterwards?

I'd love to have some of both seeds. Thanks.

I dont know about digging them up from the yard after the season is over. A real big pot should be large enough. They lose their leaves in the winter. I f any of you want to you can exchange with me and I will mail them out. Whatever is ok. The only thing is I cant use seeds or bulbs that need cold.
Thanks have a nice day. Fran

I will share whatever I have and I have lots of the dwarf flanboyant. I have lot of green pods of triple datura. some lavender datura which is smaller than the triple yellow. My purple and white are not putting out seed pods. Have one petunia in a pink shade. Lots of Tabebuia (pink) Just send the bubble envelopes and the postage and I will mail. Only the Flanboyant are thick so the others can go thru in a 37 cent envelope Not the bubble envelope but if you want some of all I have then send the amount for two ounces in the bubble envelope. If you have any to share that I dont have send me a few of yours since you have to pay to send the bubble envelope anyways. I go up to my families in Oct and I usually collect a lot of seeds up there if you want to wait. Fran

Thanks for the seeds that came in yesterday's mail!!! You are such a wonderful DGer to be sharing with so many others -
a real blessing. There will be plenty to divide with my daughters.

thanks again,

Would you be willing to do an SASBE for some of the triple yellow datura & dwarf flamboyant seeds? I doubt I'd have anything you'd want, but if you have a list I'll look it over in case! And, how much postage should I send?
Thanks in advance,
Gina

Can you tell me why the blooms would just fall off the dwarf flamboyant???

Nothing left, did not even think about making a seed pod.

Hi can you tell me if you have any of the seeds left? I would love some if you do.
Thanks,

I am getting more seed from the dwarf flamboyant all the time and would be happy to send anyone some of them and whatever else I have lots of. I dont have any preferance in seed trading but would like some different than the ordinary. It takes enought to make two oz for sure or two s39cent s stamps are usually enought i guess. I have sent seed to all that I got envelopes or requests from. I am in the address exchange under the extras in case you cant find it. Have a nice fall which is coming soon. May be best that you people up north wait till spring to plant the seed as they grow fast when it starts getting hot and germinate in about a week. give it time and keep your soil damp and they will come up.
