Pet overpopulation! Rant***

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Has this fact escaped most of the general population that local shelters all over the U.S. are filled to the brim with homeless animals? Why don't people spay and neuter their companion animals? Why do they let them reproduce and then take no responsibility for the babies? I don't get it.... Each week I walk into our local shelter and HOPE- just hope there will not be as many cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies needing homes. Of course it never works this way. I take pictures of many of them and know they will not make it out. Some are just babies. Others are long time companions tossed away. Most towns have a low cost spay and neuter clinic. Do your pet a favor get him/her fixed. Help stop this cycle... PLEASE.

Look at this face! Just look... She didn't make it out.
