Besides a nice hearty yell of Hoodie-Hoo, I also hung this on my door today to try to inspire Spring to come.
I also have "They're coming to take me away" playing over and over in my head, thanks to cpartschick! ;p

That and "camp granada" came out around the same time. They were pretty funny. Had them both on 45's. Don't know where they ended up.

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

my first 45 was a boy named sue-johnny cash

you remember joe hardy....
they're about to organize a searching party.......
take me home........oh madda fadda.........

Gladwin, MI(Zone 5a)

I even had the game "camp granada" It had icy creepy crawlers that you had to collect or something.
My first 45 record (that I bought with my own money) was "sitting on the dock of the bay" by otis redding.
You know that would be a good thread. Asking what the first record or single that a person bought.

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

I wish more michigan people would join us on this forum

I've gotten a head start on the balcony in Florida. I have three trays with triple white, yellow and purple datura, amaranthus, geraniums, flowering kale, and blue queen salvia growing, all of which will need to get home safely and transplant next week. Where will I put it all? In the refrigerator are all the perennial seeds that I am stratifying using the coffee filter method I learned on Daves Garden. Mostly wildflower seeds saved or purchased. (I'm curently enamored with every salvia I can fine.) Already started the silver lupine, wild blue phlox and verbascum violetta. Probably have another 30 filters to transplant into pots to germinate. Soon will be the tomato seeds, about 30 varieties. I've overdone it but again. Nancy

I'm told we got about 6 inches of snow today. Glad to be in Florida for at least another month. I have tomatoes ready to pick in my Earthbox. Yummm. I also have plants started on the screen porch and will have to pot them up soon to make the trip back to Michigan.
