Bump, just trying to keep this up...How is everybody doing??? Are ya getting ya stuff ready for the swap? Now remember..it doesn't have to be a plant to swap..ya can swap anything garden related also..like garden art, garden pots, garden items equal value to a plant...
Newbies-you are welcome to come and visit us..I am sure there will be people there giving stuff away..lol...

When I went last Fall, I was just looking around, didn't have anything to trade (mostly went to meet vossner - what a delight!) There were people there who wouldn't take no for an answer, insisted that I take some of their plants! Lots of nice, very friendly, and generous people.
Yesterday I potted up some hibiscus seedlings that are doing well, seeds were from a nice trader. I also have a few other seedlings to pot up yet. Also just finished putting veggies in the garden here. Spring has sprung! I am looking forward to this swap just to meet some fellow gardeners and have some fun!

Wish I lived a little closer and well that I had something to swap...I'll have to start working on the plants to swap and just talk the DH into a weekend in Houston for the next one.
araness, are you closer to galveston? there's one plant swap in Clear Lake that's pretty good.
Nope about the same distance between I would guess. I'm right on the TX/LA state line on I-10
Okay, everybody,, If you are planning to go to the swap..I need to get a head count on this so we can plan on how many people will be there..
Anybody who doesn't have anything to trade...just come on down and chat with us and or eat with us..and ya never know, ya might go home with plants..lol..
If ya have any garden related items that ya have..bring them too..like homemade soap with herbs in it,garden books, tools, garden gloves, garden art, stepping stones with garden themes on them, etc....
We will be needing door prizes if anybody want to donate to that dept as well..I will be in charge of that sine Clay will be out of town..
Just bring the items to the swap and we will go from there...
it doesn't matter what it is just as long it is related to Gardening...
So we will also have food there..go to the website and see if ya want to bring anything to help us out..
So come on down and have some fun..
Kids are allowed to come as well..there is a playground across from the pravillon as well for them to go play...

Just found out yesterday that I'll be having a bunch of family coming in from out of town that day, so I won't be able to go after all. I'm excited for everyone to be coming, but..... :-(
