Here's our new baby. She's a ten week old silver standard. I hesitated posting her on the pets forum because anyone who has ever owned a poodle knows that they are not really dogs, and don't consider themselves our pets. They are hairy beings who believe they are one of us.
We recently lost our black standard, Zelda after nearly sixteen years. She suffered a stroke after a long difficult year which included losing one of her hind legs. Lola looks like Zelda, except she will turn silver - you can see her nose is already sort of pewter color.
She is a most darling baby. Already housebroken, knows her name, sits, and doesn't run or jump in the house. She doesn't act like a puppy at all.
