Wow Lali! Sounds like you have so much fun at those meetings!
I do have a question about the foliar feeding, though. By "hot" fish emulsion, do you mean temperature hot? Diluted quarter strength in hot water? Then just mist it on the foliage? (Probably dumb questions, but I had to ask.)
I appreciate that you share with us all the things you learn at the meetings. :o)

Yes, hot as in temperature hot, not scalding, but tepid. It cools down fast enough that when it hits the leaves it should be 'warm' Like when you feed a baby a bottle of milk warm. The reason being, that if you use cold, the plants will protest the cold liquid on the leaves.
I bought a walmart av to try this on. I'm just going to put it in a spray bottle and add the hot (but not hotter than I can stand to touch) water and then mist. Don't allow the water to puddle or pool on the leaves or crown. Dab with a tissue, paper towel etc if any is pooling at the crown.
They apperantly like a good foliar feed. I wont 'practice' on my collection, but will try it on a $2 noid. I'll let you know how it goes. Should have bought two noids so I can compare them (Duh!) One with the fish one without.

Well, I'm glad I asked them, then Linda! See, if two of us are wondering, then that makes them not dumb questions! ;o) It's those humdingers that I come up with every now and then that make my husband's eyes roll that I wonder about sometimes. LOL
I've got some fish emulsion around here somewhere. I used it once, but it sort of stinks, so it hasn't been high on my list or priorities to use again. I'll find it today. Is al the fish emulsion the same, or are some of them not as good, or contain something we don't want?

Lali I use to foliage feed all the time . Too many to keep up with now. Fish is excellent I always bought mine from Gardens Alive. And VF-11 is the greatest foliage feed too !
