Hello,
I am new to seeds and would like any suggestions that anyone has for me. I have decided to start some seeds of Gardenia that I was able to buy from England. They are: Rothmannia Capensis (Wild Gardenia), Gardenia Resiniflua (Gummy Gardenia), Rothmannia Globosa (Bell Gardenia), Gardenia Volkensii (Transvall Gardenia) & Gardenia Thunbergia.
I think they are going to germinate at different times and I planted them a week ago, all at the same time. Some of the charts indicate that they can take up to a month to germinate. I decided to use the the sunleaves super starter plugs. They are in a flat on a heating mat with a plastic cover under grow lists. The Gardenia Resiniflua just came up but the others don't show any signs yet. My question - What do I do with the ones that have just germinated? Do I take them out and put them in a different spot with less heat and no cover? How much light should I now use?
TIA
Shirley
