Grenthumbs; like I said , sometimes things we'd like to do have to take a back seat to kids. I think it's really good that you are getting them involved in the outdoor gardening- wish my daughter would do the same w/ my grandson. He knows how much I like flowers and plants and takes great delight in walking me around his yard to show me all the plants. We talk about which are our favorites. Currently he likes the idea of planting seeds and opening seed pods. In another 6 mos or so he will have moved on to something else.
From my own experience their childhood goes by in the wink of an eye, even though it may not seem so when you are taking care of them day to day. Enjoy them and give them good memories to keep. As I said, soon enough they will have evolved to another phase and you will be able to keep AVs, etc in your house.
I enjoy my kids now, but sometimes I miss the kids that were.
aww, April, ya know, I rent out my kids by the hour....JUST KIDDING LOL
Seems like yesterday my daughter was little, now shes twelve going on twenty, I think I'm going to hire an armed guard, do you think they are expensive???
Any way, I try very hard not to hurry my boys to grow up, I was young when I had my Vanessa and I wanted so badly for her to walk and talk so that I could understand her better, I didn't think about enjoying her while she was little. I was much more comfortable with my abilities to be a good mom when I had my boys Quinn and Aaron, years later. Now I find most of thier antics hilarious, and they never cease to amaze me with the stuff they come up with. I think they keep me young, and are good for my soul, although I can say the same for my gardens with one little difference, flowers don't talk back : )
