Some favourite Hoya leaves

Chowchilla, CA(Zone 10a)

Carol, I call him "Squishy" but his given name is Romulus (he has a litter-mate brother named Remus). They both destroyed my blooming bella last spring (they ate most of it). Good thing that is a common plant so I can easily replace it!

Hi All! I have thoroughly enjoyed all your pictures of your babies.

I think for me, my favorite leaf is what ever Hoya I am looking at, as they all different in size, shape, color, and venations. I do think the leaves of clemensiorum is one that easily draws my attention because the leaves are long and very prehistoric looking.

I am off to take a closer look at my Hoyas.

Great photos. Simpson has certainly grown up, Christina!!!

And I love the bunny, cat and dog all together. Who is Alpha?

Prescott, AZ

I can't believe how everyone is getting along. My lab would have a fit if there was a cat near her. And the bunny is so cute.....Not a care in the world...

My two NOT at their best behaviour. Much swatting and hissing as I type this.

Amazing photo Christina - it's like 'Tom and Jerry' after signing a truce!!

Mark what kind of cat is the grey one on the chair? It's a great colour.

Heather, I think the leaves on Hoya sigillatis are great too. I've ordered a plant for delivery in the spring. I can't wait for it to arrive now!

Yes, me too on the H. sigillatis. I also heard it's a very shy bloomer so it's a good thing the leaves are so beautiful.

Uh, do we all have multiple cats???

Long Beach, CA

I have multiple dogs, but only one cat. She's a honey though. This is Mya. (never really knew how to spell her name)

Heather, that one is a knock out. Love it.

Matt, the grey cat is a domestic short hair, nothing special (in breed), but she is 18 years old, and well past the playful kitten stage that the other cat, VB, is still in. She hold her own quite well, as you can see here.

Heather that H. sigallatis is gorgeous...and it is one of my favorites. Did you know what "sigallatis" means? "Seal like"....Ted Green who published it thought it looked like the light on a seals back under water. At least ... that's what I was told....

I love everyone's animals....

Mark, what does VB stand for? Something I should know?

Carol

San Francisco, CA

VB stands for Vampire Bat princess. It is easier to see why in this photo of her as a kitten:

OMG, Mark. I LOVE that name!!! She IS a Vampire Bat Princess. What a cutie.

We really are a fabulous bunch, aren't we. We love plants and we are exceptionally wonderful servants and staff to our furry masters.

I thought I would pull this thread back up as someone was looking for info on large leaved and interesting leaves for their David Liddle order. This is my H. waymaniae, named after our own Annie Wayman.

Love all your cat pics and foliage pics :)
Well, now I have to put up a picture of my doggie! Her name is Sawyer, and as you can see she's spoiled rotten.
