Succulents/cacti

HELP, PLEASE! Due to surgery, I have lost some parts of my memory. In one part of my garden there are some succulents and cacti and to which I would like to make additions. Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of what I have. Would prefer succulents that are not too tall and certainly that do not spread aggressively like two that I have had (hopefully that are now gone!). Does anyone have something to offer whether advice or plants to a dumb old broad?

In your climate, the list is nearly endless... don't even know where to start... just look under succulents in the PFs and you can be entertained for hours and hours.
