Yep, I did it! We have a new baby in the family! After much ranting, raving, pouting (I stoop to all levels) and childish behaviour.....DH let me get a puppy! She is a little black pudge ball. Mom is a collie mix with one blue eye and one brown eye. Dad was a black fuzzball from across the road, and a bit smaller than the mom.
Isabelle was born on December 4th to an elderly mom, it was also her first litter and she had 9 pups to start! Unfortunately she lost a couple. Then poor moms milk dried up and the little pups were forced to be weaned at 3 1/2 weeks. They have all done very well, and are quite plump. The older sister was so "roubust" that she could barely walk! Isabelle is a beauty, she is all black, with short wavy hair. Her back feet have white tips on them, sort of like a french manicure!
I will have to edit this and add more....I have company at the door. My other daughter has come to meet "her sister!"
