Giant Daisy Tree Available

Wesley Chapel, FL(Zone 9a)

I have a young Giant Daisy Tree, Podachaenium eminens, available for trade.

I don't have the room to grow it in my yard. The tree is in a pot, in my greenhouse - see the picture.

The tree was sent to me by a friend in Puerto Rico, who told me that it's rare.

Please D-Mail me if interested.

Steve

skaz, I was just searching DG for info on the botanical name for this tree. Did you get yours from "Knot impaired" (Karen) in PR? I got one from her a few years ago and it definitely got too big to bring in so I had to leave it out and guess what, this is it;s second winter outside and it is doing fine. If you still have yours, you might just try leaving it outdoors. It is not as tender as we have been led to think.

Yes, I got mine from Karen, but it turns out it wasn't a Giant Daisy Tree, as Karen thought - it was a Mexican Sunflower. It died before I could trade it or plant it - too bad, it looked like a great plant.

You may have already found a home for this, but if not you might try posting on Tropicals too since this is more of a tropical sort of tree, I'm sure someone over there would love it.
