I really wish ours carried AVS Bob...I am so jealous!
I lost a lot to rot also Jannich but I have some rooted!
I also have a TON of suckers down from many of my plants.
Send me a wishlist and I will let you know what is in my collection.

(st is super thrive....and SNG spray n gro)
I am about 45 minutes from Palm Bay :) I know this because my brother used to live there..and yes Sebastian is not far at all!
Do you go to Busy Bee? Oh My GOD! That is where most of my NoIDS come from..they are like 3 for 10.00 and GORGEOUS as all get out :)
I have checked the orchid section and the Vero Beach HD just doesn't carry them...I even asked :(
But I may check the one in Sebastian :)
Looks like different varieties then I get from Busy bee!
i haven't been to the busy bee in a while...but i will go to HD tomorrow and if they have any of the "laguna" similars...i'll get a couple for you...and could meet at busy bee to give them to you etc...I'll let you know...If you know anyone with plumeria cuttings in your area i would be interested in those as well...thanks..
Jannich their beautiful :)) Your wasp blossom is gorgeous :)) South Shore Rose blossoms open slow and small but when fully opened the most gorgeous deep rose pink rose shape blossoms that last a long time. Please make sure you put a leaf or two down of her. She's not easy to get and I saw her selling pretty high on Ebay ! I have a couple leaves down of her but sent you the plant.
You doilies are so pretty did you make them ? Thanks for sharing :))
I dont' know anyone with Plumeria :) but if I find anyone I will let you know :)
Me..I only have AVS, EPs, cryptanthus and succulents..
oh and agava :)
if you are ever looking for any of those!
I would love to meet up some time..and may take a trip to HD...did you say it is the palm bay store or sebastian with the AVS?
May be worth my while..I LOVE the pansy type one you have and also the one that looks like laguna!
Wonderful plants! It's such fun to have all these great blooms in winter (especially to those of us who don't live in the deep south). Thanks for sharing those photos! I can't wait to see South Shore Rose in bloom...
I don't know about 'White Dove', but I do have an AV called 'Pink Dove'... I wonder if they could be from the same hybridizer or if it's just a naming coincidence. I thought the shape of the leaves seemed similar, at any rate.
Here's 'Pink Dove', with sparkling pale pink blooms and fabulous white variegation on the leaves!
Oh critter..another you can add to my list of wants..Pink Dove is GORGEOUS!
Done. She has 3 suckers that are scheduled for removal this week! :-)
(edited to add that this is an older picture of her, so don't go looking for the suckers in it, LOL)

Semidouble pink pansy. Variegated dark green, white and pink , plain , pointed red/back.
OK, Allison, I've added 'Pink Dove' to your wish list! You'll love her!
I have a couple of leaves down that should be earing soon, plus my plant currently has 3 larger (4 leaf) suckers and a couple of tiny suckers just starting below them. If all goes well, I should have plenty of this one to share. :-)
Looks like 'Pink Dove' isn't even a kissing cousin to 'White Dove'.
LOL..thanks critter..:) You are too good to me :)
critterologist,Pink dove is beautiful! What to trade a leave?
Allison,The white dove is a standard. Thanks for the info.Love thoughs .50 cent plants:)i really need that first class program.LOL
jannich, remind me when we start putting a trade together (as I'm sure we'll do at some point), and I'd be happy to send you a plantlet, as she has more suckers starting already. Of course, she's also big enough to readily spare some leaves.... I could even try zipping a pair of leaves to you in a BE (I'm thinking a pill bottle would offer some protection) when the weather warms up a bit this spring.
Oooh! Laguna is beautiful, amazing!!! WOW!
I will have to add that to my ever growing wish list- I am going to need my 18 year old to leave home soon so that I can have room for my AVs!
Jannich I can't fine info on Laguna ? Have any ?
critterologist, sounds good to me.

Jannich
Anytime you have an extra send it my way! I would never kick it out of my...violet pot! Anything that you are interested in trade in the way of those few AVs that I have or outside/garden?
Thank you so much!
April, we will definitely have to talk spring trade.... I need to trade some of these AV babies that are coming along for something other than more AVs, as I have lots more space outside than in!
Oh good! I am forever making cuttings for my daughter at her request and then tells me she doesn't have room for them!
Also I think it's a bit of a God complex thing "...I think that I shall never see a thing as lovely as a tree...Poems are made by fools like me, but only God can make a tree." (Sgnt. Joyce Kilmer) I can't help it but each time a cutting takes or I sprout some touchy seeds that poem runs through my mind, memorized about 43 years ago!
Critter give me a wish list!
Rather than a specific list, I'll just give you some parameters... I'm in zone 6, so I need somewhat hardier plants. Most of my space gets sun all day long. My favorite color is purple (all shades), also love rose/pinks, white, burgundy, etc.... with the black eyed susans and yellow coreopsis, I have about enough yellow & gold for my taste. The only flower colors I really don't care for are peach and orange. I have the most space out in the "orchard area" (eg, 12 baby dwarf trees, lots of grasses & "volunteers"), but most plants for out there should be shorter ones, less than 12 inches (maybe could get away with 15 or 18 inches before DH threatens with a mower). But I'm pretty easy to tempt!
Okie dokie- will look through my children and find some hardy enough for you! I am sure that I have some.
I am a fan of rose/pink and reds. I do have some interesting purples too.
You are on my list!
Wonderful! I'll put your "wish list" AVs that I have on a trade tracker entry for you!
