Louise, do the blackberry lilies need cold winters? If they don't need cold, I'd like to try them.
I can see I'm going to have to go back out and pick more of those prickly hibiscus acetosella pods! Those things have stickers!

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

Ps dont poke your fingers wear gloves. even thinking about it hurts.

Hooks, TX

Calalily,
My blackberry lilies have been in a large terra cotta pot on my deck for two years. Our temps get down to 15-20 degrees only once or twice a season, but mostly stay in the 30's for the lows. The lilies bloomed for me both years. They are the orange with burgundy spots on the petals. For now, there are four or five new plants about 3-4 inches tall coming up at the base of this years dead stalk. Let me know if you decide to try them and I will send several plants.
Louise

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

Susie, I have all the things you want, and would like whatever you have left in trade. Dmail me if you's like to trade. I have lots not on your list, too, that I can send. PLMK and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Fruitport, MI(Zone 5a)

Cala, I sent you an Dmail. I noticed your post on a different thread. I also have lots of extra purple liatris and Rose of Sharon - Aphrodite if you'd be interested in either of those also.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kay, I will D-mail you.
Kathy, I LOVE Rose of Sharon! I haven't tried liatris here, but there is a kind that grows wild on the Island. I figured I'd try a few at first, then if they do good I can plant more.
I'm trying lots of new stuff this year. I didn't think larkspur would grow here, but I saw a garden of it last spring when the blue bonnets were flowering. I've got the larkspur growing now.
I saw a garden with marigolds and zinnias too and they were pretty. I just have to figure out when to plant stuff.........we don't have "real" winter and "spring" is in February, lol.

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

Cala, I would love some of the brug seeds... I can mail out the envelope Thursday; plmk.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes, take them please!

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

Susie, from the posts of all these generous people who can't resist repaying you for all your years of generosity, I see some VERY BUSY days in your future. You will need to buy 10 more acres to plant all the goodies. I am telling you - you're going to be in for BIG trouble!!! LOL

I predict you will have ten packs of everything you asked for and 1,000 'bonus' packs!!!! TeeeeHeeee - I don't care what you say - this is fun!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kay, there are three acres next door, think they'd notice if I planted the meadow with flowers?

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

Nah!
