I love the variegated leaves too ! They don't even need to bloom :))
I don't have a digital either I use a throw away caneras and when they are developed have them put on a CD. So sometimes I have pictures !

Well the Gessie reference web sight has pictures of all of them. I'll tell you what you can't beat Gary's plants. He grows and judges African violets but for only Speicla things now..I don't know he tells about it in his web sight . lol But his Strep's and Epsicas are the greatest ! He has the one you just wanted !
Dave's has some fabulous variegated streps. That's my next 'must have' item. I just need to research them and decide which one I can't live with out. Then save up the big bucks. I think they're pretty spendy. At least on eBay. And his are in the $20 range.

Oh Dave does have one for $10.00 I bought part of a leaf of a variegated one for $6.50 but the leaf was not healthy and was rotten before I got it :(( When most people sell leaves they just sell like a 2-3 inch section .
I was at Dave's yesterday, he was potting up Sinningias. Some of the bulbs were pretty big. He was throwing the leaves in the trash after potting the crowns and bulbs. I wish I had thought to ask for some of the varieties of leaves. I saw today on the internet where you can start Sinningias from leaf cuttings like Violets it just takes longer as they sometimes try to make a tuber before sprouting up.. He has a Sinningia for 2006 that I gotta have, it's called Fireworks, just stunning! Bye-the-way Dave goes in for surgery tomorrow, (Fri.) Please remember him, he's such a swell guy to visit with. Pow Wow is my favorite! I want one so bad that I would almost be willing to pay really high shipping costs- didn't find it on Ebay, thank god those prices are too high. Will have to buy it from Violet Gallery- and now you've done it Allison, I went to Dave's Violets to see if they might have Pow Wow and dang it I don't think that I can withstand the lure and charm of the Episcia & Sinningia!- not only will my kids have to move out, but I will have to change my sign to WILL WORK FOR AVS, EPISCIAS OR SINNINGIA!- LOL
I just don't have any will power.

I just posted on another thread that I've got Pow Wow on my Violet Gallery order for spring pickup! I just couldn't resisit.... hopefully, I'll have it in time to send a pair of leaves to my Secret EB buddy (because who wouldn't want one of these, LOL), and you know I'll put down every other leaf it can spare!

April, you've got first dibs on leaves or a plantlet after I snitch from the plant for my Secret buddy! I'll add it to your wish list.

OK, Lorry, I'll add it to your wish list.... but odds are that a new plant won't have that many spare leaves right away (although I've sure brought home some that produced multiple plantlets and plenty of trimmed leaves too when I repotted them), so you may have to be patient... I know it's hard... :-)
If you buy your plants from Bluebird or Violet Gallery chances are you'll be able to put leaves down ! And one leaf may give you a few babies :))
Oh, I know I'll have plantlets available down the line... but I'm not sure if I'll have extra leaves to send out right away, after I send a couple to my secret EB buddy and put a couple down for myself. It's on Lorry's list in my trade tracker, and if she doesn't end up getting one, I'm sure she'll remind me this summer when I post an "ears up!" photo of 'Pow Wow'!
LOL...heck I don't expect to get everything on my wishlists :) But if I get some..I am a happy camper!

cyclamen mites are hard to get rid of 100 percent. Most products you find on the market that say they kill mites they are talking about cyclamen mites or boradmites.
Always isolate for at least 3 months ;
