been outside working all day. Picked up yucky pears 4wheel borrow loads and dumped in the back field
Been redoing my garden in the circle drive
trying to areas ready for bulbs and bushes i have coming..........

The last two weeks, DH and I have been working on a new garden next to the beach. The only full sun garden we have. There were several old clumps of iris and a couple of daylilies there so we thought it would be a good place. When DH started to rototill, he discovered the whole area was blacktop from an old driveway! You'ld think we'd plant someplace else, wouldn't you? NOT. DS was talked into coming over with the skidsteer and we continued.
We have my herloom iris there and I planted one of my grandfather's peonies. Also holihocks, daisys, phlox; hope to have an old cottage type garden when we're done.
Yesterday, we got the grass seed in where the skidsteer tore up so we're done for this year. The weather has been so wonderful!!!!!!!! I'm not thrilled about the growing season ending, but I AM getting tired. Kay
