Allison is that what we agreed to trade, numbers wise, 3 plants & 2+ sets of leaves? Man I have been growing/buying enough plants to fill up a small greenhouse! LOL. Actually I feel like my secret person will get a good selection thank to you!
Well I think the other trade first is seven ,varieties 2 good size plantlets and five sets of leaves and you can send more if you like !

Thanks. We'll let Lorry chime in when she can. I didn't know the other swap got moved back, so the 15th of May gives us some time. It is a Monday, so I guess we mail Monday the 15th or Tuesday the 16th. : ) That's what, 7 weeks from now? Allison, some of the leaves you sent are sprouting little ears. : ) I got a heating mat last week, and I really think it has spurred them on. My kitchen is kind of cold, lots of windows by where I keep my plants. The leaves you sent are really pretty.

I'd like to be in, BUT.....I only have 4 plants large enough to take leaves from (though they're all named).
Are we to take leaves off now and start plants, or send the leaves that we take off??
The leaves that I've tried to start plants from usually take about a year, lol!! Not sure anyone would be willing to wait that long for a plantlet from me!
I like the variegated ones, too!

Allison, my computer is giving me fits, so I am typing this at the office. I don't have my list with me, but will try to get it and post it. Everything was new to me. : ) And Amy had packaged the plants differently than I had seen before. It is interesting that everyone uses a slightly different method. : ) She had the plants in 3 ounce dixie cups and had put another matching cup over the top upside down and taped them together.
I have 50 plants, 50 plantlets and 50 leaves down now. I have only been doing this about 7 months. If you multiply that out......that's a lotta plants. BTW, my Guelph's Christmas bloomed for the first time over the weekend. The one you sent. It is gorgeous. Huge purple blooms with the white edge. So pretty. The blooms remind me of Evergrace. Thanks so much.

And wow Guelph's Christmas first flowers ! Super I can't wait to see. This is one of the greatest growing African violet plants ~ I got my baby plant last begin Nov, from VG. And sense then shared many sets of leaves and gave oh about a dozen babies away. And my Mom plant I am now letting her grow . She is about 14-16 inches across and filling up with flowers and buds ! Just a super plant don't ypu think !
