Super Trive or Messenger ?

Tyler, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you that is so much clearer. I have started a book just on brugs so I can find things when I need them instead of trying to remember what was said. Joan

I keep looking at bat guano at the store but it is so expensive for just a small bag. I would go totally broke buying enough for my plants. I wonder if it works wonders.

Ok I am game, just what is Dr Bonner's soap??? I always love a new product.

Kell this one is as old as me. It's Dr Bronners Magic Soaps, 18- in-1 Hemp PEPPERMINT PURE-CASTILE SOAP.
It's made with organic oils and they are Coconut, Olive, Hemp, Jojoba and Peppermint. It's $12.49 for a quart which last a year for one person. It has to be diluted. One drop washes my hands minty clean. I put a teaspoon in my new shampoo bottle, shake, and have that great smell and extra cleaning.
There is an abundance of "Cleanliness is next to Godliness" preaching on the old fashioned navy and white bottle label.
Same label for the 35+ years I've been using it. I get it at Home Economist in Charlotte. It's a whole grain etc food store. I buy my herbs by weight there too.

Thanks Sidney! It's been so long since I've had the soap the first 'r' slipped past me.

I don't exactly regret the move to Texas, but I guess I should get out and explore more, maybe I'll find a store that sells it in Tyler or Longview - or heck, I can always find it on the www, right?

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

I use both on my brugs. I only used messenger on my tomatoes and I got the best production EVER - BIG tomatoes & LOTS of them. I only gave the tomatoes 3 applications.

You sure can Maggiedew. Many sizes are available too!

How cool Sydney. I found his site and read all about him. What an interesting life he had.

Thanks, Kell I will read up on him some more too. I also have to try at least 3 more scents.
Maggi, free shipping on $20, that's about a good as I get. I drive 385mi. for mine, but actually no trips JUST for that. I will order direct in the future.
I have 6 tomatoes that are trying to decide wheather to green-up or not. I might sock it to them with the superthrive or messenger.
What do ya'll think?

Where do you have tomatoes, Sydney? On December 28th in zone 8B. LOL You are trying to get the plant or the tomato fruit to green up? Fried green tomato time??

I am not an expert on Superthrive. I just recently bought some from all the rave reviews on here. Messenger I have mixed feelings about. I do think it hastens the blooming of brugs, but I have no clue what it does to other plants. So I am not a good one to give advice on either. When I want a plant to green up I give it a dose of nitrogen like in Miracle Grow or/and a foliar spray of liquid iron.

I got the plants in August and when I returned after 7 weeks away working they were producing. One dime size fruit is covered and is a 4 - 5 foot bush. Tomatoes don't grow in the summer for me.
Some brugs are still blooming outside also.
