I have a lilac "Syringa x Royalty" that I don't think is in the PF. It is a Canadian cultivar , but doesn't match up with the ones there. It comes up on a web search as I listed. I do not have a picture, but I do have the tag for it. Can I add this plant?

Royalty lilac
It appears it's already in PlantFiles here: http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/82701/index.html
Terry,
It really is the Royalty Lilac in this link. Does it have multiple latin names?

I guess that is it. I never saw the josiflexa in any other info.
It looks like there's probably some confusion about its parentage among the commercial vendor listings - it's pretty easy to find it listed under either at various sites. I'll do some digging and see which seems to be the widely-held valid name ;o)
That's fine. You can decide that. I'll have a picture in the spring or one now without leaves now ..HA

Hi I am new to Dave's Garden. I have five(5) different colors of lilac and I love everyone. I was wondering if the lilac "Syringa x Royalty is available in my area. I am in Pennsylvania right on Lake Erie.
Not sure. It is a Canadian variety. I would think you might have better luck finding one in the spring.
