I brought in some of the orange seeded mg that grew up into a tree and I was unable to get seed from. I had the plant in a pot and it died back when the weather got cold. I thought it may still be alive so brought it in since it had that "trunk" above ground. It has revived on one of the three and is taking off really well. I want to save seeds from it. Do I have to get a little brush and hand pollinate the flowers? What if there is only one flower open? Do I get pollen and rub it on another part of the same flower to pollinate it? I don't know much about pollinating things since the bees and butterflies do such a good job outdoors. Sorry if I am dumb about this, if anyone has a source where I can look this up I would appreciate it.
I want to get some seeds to share since they are such a pretty orange color. The pod opens and three orange seeds hang downward, very pretty.

Descriptions and links for the flower parts are as follows
The male part of the flower is called the androecium or stamen.
The stamen is divided into two parts, the anther is the part on the top that produces and releases the pollen from the pollen sacs or pollen pouches
The anther rests on top of a stalk called the filament
The main female parts collectively known as the gynoecium are the ovary and pistil.
The top of the pistil is called the stigma, which receives the pollen
The stigma is on top of a stalk called the style.
The ovary is at the very bottom, inside is where the ovules are,and the ovules if fertilized, develop into seeds

Thank you so much. I should have kept my highschool books and it would have made it simpler. You did a good job of explaining things. So If I get the seed to develope then I am successful I take it. Thanks for your time. You are a lifesaver on this forum.
