I had no idea how big a hurry I should have been in when getting out seeds. Life just got in the way and I was late with quite a few> Between going home and spending a week in Ga./Ala and my hard drive crashing I was late please forgive me.if you were one of those people.
Guess I just didn't think since I knew I would send out the seeds and figured they wouldn't be planted till spring..

Hey Lavina,

A lot of people send out immediately and expect the same turnaround. Many of us like to have our seeds in hand so we know the other trader didn't forget us. And many of us sow our seeds throughout winter, directly in our beds, so nature gives them the "cold treatment" they need.

I don't know how late you were. I'm not one of your traders. But I usually don't start asking about a trade for about two weeks. I understand that people have a life and other responsibilities. And I, myself, have taken two weeks to get a trade out.

I waited on one trader for months! I finally gave up, thinking she'd never send. But she DID! And not only did she send the few things she owed me, but she sent lots of other stuff too--tons of seeds I'd been wanting (which she bought just for me), One Stroke painting books and brushes and paints, homemade craft items, and a $20 book on water gardening. Well worth the wait! We ended up trading a few more times and each time, she's late, late, late. But she makes up for it.

In my book, late is ok, but deliberate no-show is irresponsible. Communication is important. As long as you keep in touch with your traders, you'll find most of them are understanding. Good luck with your trades.
