Dan, sure you can name a brug of unknown parentage. Sometimes it is better to have some sort of name on them before you send them out so that people know who they are if they are going to make crosses. I just sent some unnamed ones out to be trialed and put my working name on them. I do not know if they will get a real name yet. If you do not put a name on her, she will be called unknown Frosty type in the future, I imagine. When I use the cross as a name I usually put a number to it or a location so I know which one of the cross it is. It is fun, isn't it?

Brigitte, your seedlings look so good. I can't wait to see what you get from all your crosses.

Well it sure does look like it will. It most likely dropped the other bud to give all the strength to the one.
Just don't fuss or play around with it too much!!!
