Would like some suggestions, please

Hey Deb!
I also give a little tug. But sometimes the leaf comes right out of the soil. If it does, I check it out for root progress; then make a hole with a pencil and put the leaf back in the soil. Dosen't hurt them a bit. At least in my experience.

Allison,
If you look closely you can see the main stem is in the middle of the pot. It is trailing to one side. That is why I pinched the main crown to cause other runners to start from to opposite side. It will take awhile for the symetry to take place. A little pinch here or a big pinch there will make things happend in the end. I'll take another picture in the spring.

OH yes Nanna . My in Spring those plants will look like the big ones on Rob's sight :)) I can't wait to see them :)) Did you put leaves down of Deer Path and allegro appelachian trail ? Great for trading selling, and insurance just incase something ever happen to the plant. Allison

Gorgeous plants, Nanna! It's unbelievable how well & how quickly that 'Sticky Wicket' is filling in! I sure hope you put down leaves for 'Deer Path'.... ;-)

I have leaves set for all. Sticky Wicket is amazing. The plant was purchased in August from Rob's and was is a 2 inch pot. It took forever to begin to grow; then all of a sudden it decided it liked where it was living.

The appalachian trail was a give away---very long a leggy---no side shoots at all. I chopped off the long leg and cut it into 3 pieces. I will never take it to show so I figured I could stick the 3 cuts back in the same pot. Everything rooted and is beginning to grow. The flowers are from one of the cuttings.

I have to say ...it would be a matter of preference. I like to let mine ball up and do their thing...Once they are where I want them...then I begin to nip back.
Like treasure said though...they can get as big as you want them...even the minis will spill out and do what they will *wink*
It is a lovely plant hun!
