Stem bulblets

I have alot of Stem bulblets. Can I pot them up in tall 20. 0z cups.(holes for Dranage) and put them in my extra Fridge at (36 Degrees) till next spring.

I'll take a shot at this one! I potted up a bunch of seedling bulblets in a really big pot last year. I let them sit outdoors until it was getting down in the 20's consistantly at night, then I moved them into an unheated storage area between the proper garage and my potting room. They survived!

I've said all of this to say go for it! As long as you have no apples in there with them and keep the soil barely damp, (definately not wet) I would think you should be fine.

I've never did what you want to do so it would be great to find out how they survive. I would guess you will be moving them in and out so they can come up in the sunshine and not freeze at night once the temps become springlike..

How many lily babies are you talking about here?

I would dig a trench and bury the cups/pots for the winter. Then you wouldn't have to worry about them drying out in your fridge.
