I know this is always hard with some of the descriptions you come across. This is first for me, what color is ashes of roses? Suggestions anybody?
Colors
Peggy which plant do you mean?
Baa it's for an older daylily cultivar.
Thanks! I don't know then, I asked because there are Sempervivum and Rhododenron cv.s called 'Ashes of Roses' too.
I should have know it would have been a Daylily shouldn't I LOL
I had to Google this one, and info is limited. It is listed as an old cultivar, Russell 1944. As far as I can tell, however, rose/mauve is the best choice... just my opinion.
I think I confused everybody. The Cultivar this is for is Prodigy and the color description is ashes of roses. I've never run across that as a color description before. Thanks for the help.
Ah, well that makes sense! I've seen the same color description. I think the original cultivar may have ceased to exist, but it still used as a color reference. I still think rose/mauve is the closest from my Googling... can't seem to find any info on Prodigy.
I think if I came across a color called that I would have entered rose/mauve and silver/gravy but that's just me...
