Different morning glory?

Mount Prospect, IL(Zone 5a)

I have a very medium blue moring glory, white center. Heart shaped leaves that I thought must be Heavenly Blue, but I had only planted Japanese mgs and more hard to find varieties of mgs.
Taking a closer look at it, I noticed its flowers were in clusters. Mid stem, another 2" stem would stick out and 4 to 5 buds would appear on what looked like a chandelier, holding them up. I tried to get some pics on my snapshot camera and if I ever get it developed will get it posted, except there were no blooms when I took the picture, but you can see the configuration of the stem holding the buds. Thinking this was a common plant I did not pay attention to the flowers before, but now I see this difference. any ideas on this? Or is it common? Doris

No star, but white throat. It was quite a striking color, rather intense!

It wasn't a Japanese one was it? Are you sure it had heart-shaped leaves?

No, it wasn't the mini blue one, the color was more intense. The leaves were heart shaped definately., and I did not plant any common ones that I know of. I only planted Japanese ones. It probably came in a trade and when I saw the heart leaves I figured someone sent me Heavenly Blue instead. Then I noticed the buds that were in this group of 3 to 5 flowers on a stem, that came out from the stalk that ordinarily would have had one bud on it. It still has buds, I think its too chilly for them to bloom, but we have been dipping down into the 30's. I am going to try and dig it up and pot it to bring indoors. I have it covered right now. I need to get this film developed of the buds. I did pick some seeds earlier, but don't know if I labeled the as I thought they were common and did not pay attention to the configuratiuon of the buds til just recently!I
