Hiyaa kitten lovers out there. Thought it was time to start a new thread, so here it is. Welcome back. Today was filled with fright. You all know how Shandi herds the kittens and doesn't let them go outside. She has been faithfully bringing them back in the dog door whenever they stray. Well, last night, Snicket decided it was time for them to all start going into the back yard (it has cat proof fencing all around the top so they can't get out of it). She would go out the door and mewl at them til they came out. Shandi was going nuts. Robin kept bringing them back in. Well, this morning, cat yowling woke Robin up and she went out back to check, and it was Pickalily. We don't know how long Shandi had been trying to bring him inside, but he was pretty slobbered on and totally muddy. He was very tired. I washed him off and snuggled him. He ate like a horse, then went to sleep until just about an hour ago. Hopefully he has, like Dianket, decided that the outdoors isn't for him.
He is frolicking and playing now with his sisters, happy as the bug that he is. Whew! I was quite worried about him even though Shandi is always ultra gentle with them. Just needed sleep though.
Everyone else is bright eyed and bushy tailed and sharp as ever. Here is a collage for you to enjoy. Pickles is still sleeping in the photos.
Edited to say that Rob pointed out that everyone looks tired in the pics. I guess it does look that way. The little pic of Londyn, she was spinning on the bed trying to catch some toys, and the 2 of Dianket with the food bowl, she was hanging onto the side of the dogdish. But the others do appear to be laid back photos. Sorry......You can see some of the left over Oklahoma dirt on Pickles too....
