Welcome into my courtyard on this cold and rainy day!!

Petersburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Wow Kell
What a nice trip. Back to reality,
we had first frost and all tropicals
had to come in yesterday.Cold, cloudy, dark here now,yuck....

Serious Zone Envy going on here!!!
Looks very nice Kell.

Wow, beautiful garden. Your wet and yucky garden still beats mine anyday! I have plans for my garden though. Thanks for giving us a tour. Everything was so beautiful. I especially like the lushness, if that's even a word. I moved to the states from a tropical island, so I love the 'have to hack a path with a machete' look. You've inspired me to get more gutsy and try more!

Kell, your yard is just unbelievably beautiful. How in the world do you find time to work and keep your yard looking like that? I have zone, energy and plant envy big time. Also, your new pink brug is just awesome. She certainly is a keeper. Is she one that you grew from seed, and if so, what is the cross?

Leander, TX(Zone 8b)

Oh thank you Kell. That was a wonderful stroll. I really needed that to put a smile on my face today. Such a beautiful garden.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks!!! I get winter here too but instead of snow we get lots of rain! I grew up in NJ, I could never live where it is so cold in the winter and so hot in the summer again!! I guess I am spoiled now.

You have a good eye, Sylvia. I have been having a ball taking pictures of her every which way. She is my favorite seedling of the year I think. Her tag must have slipped down the side. I need Tom to help lift her out to look for it. She is in a 15 gallon pot. I have been calling her Hot Lips. LOL

Kell,
Your gardens are as always filled with BEAUTIFUL flowers ,FANTASTIC combinations ! I used to love my coleus, haven't grown it in several years though .

Who said they have zone envy ?? someone in Virginia and Texas ?? Try Maine LOL.....NO really... the State of Maine is really beautiful but I wish my gardening season was ALOT longer than it is especially since I lugged about 45-50 Daylilies and several roses which are in large pots into the cellar a few days ago.
My back told me I am not as joung as I thought I was :-(( Talk about going overboard with buying.

Kell , Your gardens are inspiring. Thanks for sharing the pictures,
Brigitte

Oh my...thank you for the tour of your garden, Your flowers are beautiful.

All of mine are cut back and tucked away for winter. I did have one little surprise today. One of my little 6" cuttings has a huge bud. It is trying so hard to be a Brug. After seeing your beautiful yard I have to share my new baby.
