Emma and her son

Dillonvale, OH(Zone 6a)

Just got this email from Emma, I am so happy for her. I will call either her or her hubby tonight for an update :)

Keep the prayers coming!!

Quoting:
OK, I'm out the door....
LISTEN TO THIS

Jim was seen this morning by THE MAN - TOPS IN THE WORLD!

Dr. Red Duke

He said Jim was 'very lucky'. The skull fracture is 'slight'.
Only real problem is the bruise to the brain,
but as luck had it for us 'again', that is not as major as it could have been Dr. Duke said.

SO.....

Dr. Duke is taking Jim slowly off of his morphine today and tomorrow, and putting him on oral pain medication.....
and being the clown that Dr. Duke is [who is well known for his humor] told my son to 'Suck It Up'....
meaning don't be a wuss.... without the morphine!
JUST LOVE IT!
My son doesn't do pain well at all. Talk about a big baby!

Makes me feel SO MUCH BETTER that Dr. Duke saw him.

This one is worth posting on MG Thread - just because he was seen by THE MAN....
If you don't know who Dr. Duke is,
do a google - you will be very impressed!

Dr. Duke is THE BEST - EVER!

Maybe, Just Maybe - Jim will get to go home tomorrow.

Later,
Emma
