I was wondering , is it common for MGs to self seed in zone 5-6a? I was very surprised this year when it came back better than last years. Also surprised because I had tilled the bed this spring and planted roses....and lo and behold there was a MG growing next to the roses later. They look beautiful together.
MG came back on their own
oh yes they do. Have one in another tread that has been selfseeding for some 15 years in zone 3.
